This iconic Far North Queensland tradition is set to deliver two unforgettable nights of live music, rodeo action, and community spirit.

What’s On at the 2025 Laura Rodeo

Held at the Laura Races and Rodeo Grounds, this year’s event promises something for everyone:

• Rodeo Events: Experience the excitement of the Open Bull Ride, Bushman’s Saddle Bronc, Mini Bull Rides, and Ladies Barrel Race.

• Campdraft Competitions: Watch skilled riders demonstrate their horsemanship in the Campdraft events.

• Live Music: Dance the night away with The Barnyard Band performing on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

• Charity Auction & Raffle: Support HeartKids through the charity auction and raffle, with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

• Food & Stalls: Enjoy a variety of food vans and market stalls offering delicious treats and unique finds.

• Fully Licensed Bar: Relax with a cold drink from the bar, open until midnight both nights.

We’re Heading to Laura Rodeo This Week – North Queensland Here We Come!

We are off this week to the Laura Rodeo in beautiful North Queensland and couldn’t be more pumped! Last year, we absolutely killed it on those big rodeo nights, and this year we’re back with an all-new show that’s bigger and better than ever.

We’re especially excited to introduce our fantastic fiddle player, Katisha Adelaide — she’s a total weapon and bringing a fresh, electrifying energy to the band! 🎻🔥

Tickets & Entry

Tickets are available for purchase with these options:

• $100 – 4-Day Pass (18+): Access all events from Thursday, June 26, including camping on the grounds.

• $50 – Rodeo Pass (18+): Entry from Saturday morning, June 28, for rodeo events only.

• Under 18s: Free entry with no ticket required.

Please note, the event is cash-only, with limited mobile service available. No dogs are allowed on the grounds.

A Tradition of Community & Culture

Since 1977, the Laura Rodeo & Campdraft has been a cornerstone of the Cape York community. Organized by volunteers and supported by local sponsors, the event brings together locals and visitors for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration. The combination of rodeo action, horse sports, and live entertainment creates a festival atmosphere that’s unique to Laura.
