The Barnyard Band has become one of the most in-demand country show bands on the North Queensland rodeo circuit.

Through 2026 we've played a big share of the region's major rodeos — Bowen River, Ingham, Laura, Charters Towers, and the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo. That season peaked with a full-scale country party show at Buchanan Park for Mount Isa, in front of more than 5,000 people. It was one of our biggest nights yet, and the stage where we debuted our original single One Hit Wonder.

We're still available for weddings and private celebrations when the fit is right. What's changed is the focus. Right now we're putting our energy into ticketed local shows, country music festivals, town shows, rodeos and major events — the nights where the crowd comes for a proper concert, not background music.

A country party show, not just a band on a stage

First and foremost, The Barnyard Band is a high-energy country party show. Huge country and rock favourites, crowd participation, video production, live cameras and synchronised show elements — built to feel like a real concert experience.
