The Barnyard Band has become one of the most prominent and in-demand country show bands on the North Queensland rodeo circuit.
Throughout 2026, we performed a lion’s share of North Queensland’s biggest rodeos.
Thank you to the Bowen River, Charters Towers, Laura, Ingham & Mount Isa Rodeo Committee's for the outstanding events we got to rock out this year, what an absolute wild ride. Our rodeo season concluded with incredible concerts at Buchanan Park for the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo 2026, where we delivered our full-scale country concert show to an amazing 5000+ PAX crowd. It was one of our biggest and most successful performances yet—and another clear sign that The Barnyard Band is becoming a major force in live country entertainment. Joining the ranks of quality acts guaranteed to bring a party to unlimited crowd sizes. Our impressive concert equipment was on full show in Mount Isa - using all our own stage effects and big screen as seen on the videos below. We also chose the Mount Isa Rodeo stage to debut our brand-new original single, “One Hit Wonder.” First and foremost, The Barnyard Band is a high-energy country party show band. We combine huge country and rock favourites, crowd participation, video production, live cameras and synchronised show elements to create a genuine concert experience—not simply another band playing songs on a stage. And we are only just getting started.
