Originally from Far North Queensland, Katisha grew up immersed in the arts, exploring everything from dance and theatre to piano, singing and instrumental music. At 16, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning a violin and quickly discovered a passion that would shape her future. After studying in Sweden with renowned violinists and performing with youth orchestras throughout Europe, she returned to Australia to complete a Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

Her musical journey has taken her around the world, performing in countries including Kenya, Uganda, Thailand and the Philippines, where she developed her distinctive live-looping style and contemporary approach to the violin. Along the way, she has shared stages with orchestras, appeared at major events including the Ashes Test at The Gabba, and continued to collaborate with some of the world's most innovative violinists.

Katisha released her debut EP Kaleidoscope in 2018, followed by her first full-length album Home Is Not So Far in 2021. Today, she remains passionate about redefining what the violin can be, delivering performances that are fresh, exciting and unlike anything audiences have experienced before.
